Loren & Associates, Inc. established in 1980, is a petroleum consulting firm specializing in the earth science disciplines, with special expertise in seismic calibration and petrophysical evaluation. Our consulting services stress cross-discipline integration, and range from field evaluation and development projects through exploration plays. Depending on the project, we work as independent consultants, as an extension of the client’s staff, or as a member of a consortium of several specialized consulting groups. Dennis, the president of the company, has worked in the oil industry since 1961. He spent 18 years with various Shell Companies in both technical and management positions. He started consulting in 1979, building the company to provide petrophysical, engineering and geoscience support to the industry. His academic background in geophysics, coupled with his professional experience in petrophysics, petroleum engineering and management, form the basis of this integrated consulting company.
